More and more clients are expected to be seeking a 52-week-of-the-year accounting service, rather than periodic discussions during the year and a one-hour meeting after the annual financial accounts and income tax return have been prepared.

Clients who are keen to scale up their business and grow it, so that the business value increases, know that they need to have strong financial controls within their business.

In the ESS BIZTOOLS system, this starts with the weekly performance report and then moves into detailed monthly accounts, compared to budgets and cash flow forecasts and KPI analysis, together with a financial report on the month’s performance that is submitted for discussion, at the monthly business review meeting attended by the leadership team.
