This webinar will outline the importance of the 52-Week Enhancement System, and how you could utilise this key component of the ESS BIZTOOLS’ Advisory Intro Package to deliver real-time accounting service to your SME clients.

Processing of data and undertaking prompt analysis of performance is vital for business success. The high rate of business failure is proof that servicing SMEs on the basis that they receive an annual set of accounts, income tax return and accounting advice at that time, is not enough data or advice to enable SMEs to navigate the significant challenges confronting them.

The ESS BIZTOOLS’ 52-Week Business Enhancement System, included in the Advisory Intro Package, enables accountants and bookkeepers to provide real-time financial advice to SMEs. This system includes resources to allow you to produce the necessary financial reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and gives you “an inch wide and a mile deep” knowledge of your SME clients’ business operations.

A recent report by the Department of Industry, Science and Resources indicated that the estimated ‘refundable offset’ for “companies with an annual turnover of less than $20M in 2022/23” would be $2.54B.

The cost for the Government is the Research and Development (R&D) Tax Offset, which is 43% of the R&D expenditure. This means that the total expenditure on eligible R&D activities by these SME companies would be $5.83B.

This level of investment by SMEs highlights the significant R&D activities that are being conducted. Furthermore, these figures highlight the real importance of R&D advice and assistance for SMEs.

Unfortunately, many accounting firms do not supply these kind of advice.
