What is ESS BIZTOOLS? ESS BIZTOOLS is a time saving web-based business advisory tool for modern professionals, who work with increasingly demanding and entrepreneurial clients.
Developed from the expert knowledge of long-time accountant, business adviser, director and government grant expert, Peter Towers, this exciting web-accessible product provides you with a wide range of pre-prepared and continually updated material for your small/medium sized business clients.
Peter Towers compiled these papers due to "the total frustration at the lack of information available to accountants to enable them to offer sound and well researched "business of business" advice to their clients". Now he has ensured that you do not need to reinvent the wheel.

ESS BIZTOOLS comprises papers relating to a wide range of business related matters. The papers are directly targeted at small/medium sized enterprise operators and their staff and the staff of professional firms who give advice to small/medium sized enterprises. The notes have been written with the direct target audience (small/medium sized enterprises, operators and their staff) in mind. ESS BIZTOOLS has not been written as a text book, but rather as booklets or papers that can be used to support professional advice.
There has been numerous articles written over recent years highlighting that accountants of the future must provide more business advice, not just the requirements of Tax or Corporate Law. The provision of business advice is becoming more important. There is a greater demand from clients for accountants to give business advice.
"Business of Business"
The accountant of today and tomorrow needs to be more acutely aware of the "business of business" matters relative to the actual business survival of their clients. In other words accountants need to be able to perform an all embracing "Chief Financial Officer's" role in their clients' businesses.
ESS BIZTOOLS enables accountants to use material that has been prepared by experienced practitioner accountants/business persons (with experience in the "real business world") to make the information available, not only to their clients, but also to the staff of the professional practice.
There is nothing in ESS BIZTOOLS that the vast majority of accountants could not have prepared themselves. For the cost of a subscription to ESS BIZTOOLS, practitioners can immediately begin utilising the information contained therein, without having to go to the enormous time commitment to prepare the actual material.
