Business Advisory Services Update
This example of a “Fee for Advisory and Compliance Services” will give you an overview of the approach that an accounting firm took to pricing their services to their SME client.
The partner had conversations with 2 Directors within the business and made the following proposal:
“We’ll do your compliance services, we will help you establish Budgets and meet monthly to interpret them.”
“We will sit on the Board of Advice. Our role is to facilitate the annual Strategic Review to assist you to determine what are the trends coming up for this business and hence what effect these trends are going to have on the business. We will articulate what we have got to do to improve and reduce the risks so that the business will survive the changes coming at us.”
“We have established who is going to be responsible for driving these changes – our nominated Partner will facilitate the meetings and the Managing Director will organise quarterly Agendas and support for those participating in these meetings.”
The role was built around facilitating quarterly Senior Leadership Team meetings and 7 other operational meetings during the year.
