Changes to the Business Growth Grant program

The Australian government has announced changes to the Business Growth Grant program, commenced in July this year. Business Growth GrantThe government has announced withdrawal of the following industries from the program:
  • Defence
  • Energy, Water and Waste Management
  • Tourism Sector
  • Creative Industries
  • Medical Practices and Hospitals from Medical Technologies and Pharmaceuticals
The revised list of industries eligible for the Business Growth Grant includes:
  • Advanced Manufacturing
  • Food and Agribusiness
  • Medical Technologies and Pharmaceuticals
  • Mining Equipment Technology and Services
  • Oil, Gas and Energy Resources
  • Freight and Logistics
  • Infrastructure Related Construction
  • Information and Communications Technology (ICT)
  • Professional Services
